At The Shades of Skin, we strive to ensure that you receive premium-quality products and a smooth shopping
experience. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.
📌 Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or exchange under the following conditions:
- You received a damaged or defective product
- You received an incorrect product
- The size does not fit (only if size exchange is applicable)
Return requests must be raised within 10 days from the date of delivery.
❌ Non-Returnable Items
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if:
- The product has been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
- Original tags, labels, or packaging are missing
- The return request is made after the allowed return period
- Products purchased during sale / clearance (unless defective)
🔁 Return Process
To initiate a return:
Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
If approved, we will arrange a pickup or provide return instructions.
🚚 Return Shipping
- If the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item), return shipping will be free of cost.
- For all other approved returns, shipping charges may be borne by the customer.
💰 Refund Policy
- Refunds are processed only after quality inspection of the returned product.
- Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
- Refund processing time: 5–7 business days after inspection.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or UPI after
receiving
necessary details.
🔄 Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are subject to product availability.
- Only one exchange per order is allowed.
- If the requested size or product is unavailable, a refund will be initiated.
- Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days from the date of delivery.
📦 Undelivered / Refused Orders
If an order is returned due to:
- Incorrect address
- Customer unavailability
- Refusal to accept delivery
Shipping charges will be deducted from the refund, or the order may be cancelled without refund
of shipping fees.
⛔ Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order or before shipment.
- Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.
