At The Shades of Skin, we strive to ensure that you receive premium-quality products and a smooth shopping experience. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

📌 Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or exchange under the following conditions:

  • You received a damaged or defective product
  • You received an incorrect product
  • The size does not fit (only if size exchange is applicable)

Return requests must be raised within 10 days from the date of delivery.

❌ Non-Returnable Items

Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if:

  • The product has been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Original tags, labels, or packaging are missing
  • The return request is made after the allowed return period
  • Products purchased during sale / clearance (unless defective)

🔁 Return Process

To initiate a return:

Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days. If approved, we will arrange a pickup or provide return instructions.

🚚 Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item), return shipping will be free of cost.
  • For all other approved returns, shipping charges may be borne by the customer.

💰 Refund Policy

  • Refunds are processed only after quality inspection of the returned product.
  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
  • Refund processing time: 5–7 business days after inspection.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or UPI after receiving necessary details.

🔄 Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.
  • Only one exchange per order is allowed.
  • If the requested size or product is unavailable, a refund will be initiated.
  • Exchange requests must be raised within 7 days from the date of delivery.

📦 Undelivered / Refused Orders

If an order is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address
  • Customer unavailability
  • Refusal to accept delivery

Shipping charges will be deducted from the refund, or the order may be cancelled without refund of shipping fees.

⛔ Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order or before shipment.
  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled.

  • Return approval is subject to quality verification.
